Family stories confirm that Thomas Knight of Adrian, MI was one of 12 children, consistant of the family of

William Knight and Jane Barry of Lubenheim, England.  A son of Thomas had the Barry name, and family

tratiditon states that Thomas' parents were William and Jane Knight.

Jane is listed as a widow in the 1861 census.  There are three death records in the indexes for Market

Harborough District for William Knight in 1855 besides the one given in source for 1866.
