1.  Franklin Alfred DIEHL
Franklin Alfred, married Annie Heilig, whose father was Benjamin Heilig. Franklin worked in the
iron works in Emaus (later Emmaus) and often talked about what a hard job it was. After his
marriage he began to work as an insurance agent for the Prudential Co. in Allentown and became
superintendent of that office, from which he retired after 37 years. He had 5 children. Alfred was
