Deceased Name: DEROCHE, Marvin Dale

Of West Branch, formerly of Flushing, age 78, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at West Branch Regional

Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Rossell Funeral Home, Pastor

Doug Klein will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 11AM until the time of

service on Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ogemaw

County Humane Society Building Fund. Mr. Deroche was born in Flushing, MI January 9, 1929, the son of

William Edward and Mary (Woodbeck) Deroche. He married Jean Ann Spinney in 1947 in Flushing. She

preceded him in death October 10, 2005. Mr. Deroche had been employed by General Motors for 40 years,

retiring in 1986. He was an avid outdoor sportsman. He loved his children, friends and his garden. Surviving

are: 6 children, Cindy and husband Curley Correll of Hale, Cathy and husband Randy Greilick of Bokeelia,

FL, Bob and wife Renee Deroche of Negaunee, Judy and husband Greg Zettle, of West Branch, Janet and

husband Allen Jackson of Clio, James and wife Diane Deroche of Ingleside, TX; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-

grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise and son, Ron.

DEROCHE, JeanAnn - Of West Branch, formerly of Flushing, age 76, died Monday, October 10, 2005 after

a long brave battle with cancer at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM

Friday, October 14, 2005 at Rossell Funeral Home, Pastor Don Weatherup will officiate. Burial will follow at

Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 11AM-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial

contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society or Seton Center, West

Branch. Mrs. Deroche was born in Assyria Center, MI on January 14, 1929, the daughter of Allan and Naomi

(Buell) Spinney. She married Marvin Dale Deroche in 1947 in Flushing. She loved nature, flowers, gardening,

crafts, cooking, music, and raising her family. JeanAnn never met anyone who wasn't a friend. Surviving are:

husband, Dale Deroche of West Branch; 6 children, Cindy and husband Curly Correll of Hale, Cathy and

husband Randy Greilick of Bokeelia, FL, Bob and wife Renee Deroche of Sterling Heights, Judy and

husband Greg Zettle of West Branch, Janet and husband Allen Jackson of Clio, James and wife Diane
