BAKER 1,2,3 was born4,5
on 15 Sep 1802 in New Jersey.
Horace Baker and his wife Julia separated, and
the boys weretaken into the family of Adonijah Baker,
and brought up underthe immediate
care of his sister Augusta Baker. They
came to MIin 1838 and
remained with the family at the
homestead in Holly,MI, until 1853 or 1854, when they went to reside at
Port Huron,MI.
April 1, 1852, a conveyance was
executed to Horace Baker andEdward H. Tucker, of 53.65 acres of
land in Lancaster Township,Erie
County, part of Holland Land Company's land described aspart of Lot 7
and bounded on the south by
Buffalo Creek. On thesame date they
executed a mortgage on the
property for$3,000.00.
Horace married (1) Julia NASH 6,7,8
. Julia was born9 in
New Jersey.
Horace married12 (2) Mrs. Helena (--?--) TUCKER 10,11
in 1853/1854.
